Speaking of WWE, Curt Hawkins has broke the 269 losing streak yesterday at WrestleMania. Prior to last night’s WrestleMania, the last time that the Undertaker didn’t appeared at WrestleMania was in 2000. Last Thursday was the sixth anniversary of Roger Ebert’s appearance as a contestant on the April 4, 2013 episode of Celebrity Bucket Kickers. Antwan, what are your thoughts about last night’s WrestleMania?
‘Paid Off with Michael Torpey’ is returning for a third season on TruTV next month, along with a new phone-in game. Total winnings that the (really good and really hard to find airing in Canada) student debt quiz show has given away will top $1M this season, according to Torpey on his FB page.
BuzzFeed is reporting that Mike Meyers’ ‘Gong Show’ reboot has (to my regret, it’s one of their better summer offerings right now) been gonged by ABC after two seasons, along with ‘The Alec Baldwin Show’. Not yet officially confirmed by the Alphabet Network yet, but in the case of the latter, which was moved to Saturdays mid-run, the BuzzFeed writer actually said, ‘come on now.’ Poor Alec, he got more respect than that when he appeared in a Mike Meyers movie (hint: live-action Dr. Suess).
