This 8-letter synonym for a delegate or ambassador comes from the Latin for “send out”.

She’s stumped by “emissary”.

The $2K Revelation is a DD waiting to happen for the champ, who’s in 2nd w/ $6200, four Benjamins off Pranjal’s pace. Here’s Ellen’s $3K answer for the lead back.

The Teapot Dome Scandal during President Harding’s term was about giving unfair access to reserves of this commodity.

“What is oil?”…she struck it rich there. When Pranjal chooses the $2K These Are Bible Books for the last one, he finds out about a wrong response reversal in his favor regarding the $2K Exodus clue, propelling him to $18,200 & as a result leads the champiene by Carolyn’s $7K bank. He makes a bet of $3210.

In Soliloquy of the Spanish Cloister, Robert Browning rhymed this Pauline epistle w/ “damnations”.

“What is gallations?”…well, I’ll be darned- that’s it. And that’s the end of the rd., leaving behind the $800 spots for These Are Bible Books & Exodus.

ATTEMPTED LT: $3600
UNATTEMPTED LT: $1200
TOTAL DJ! LT: $4800
PRANJAL’S CORYAT: $20,200

FJ! C #222: JUDGES

Before he headed up the Supreme Court, he argued only one case before it– a 1796 case he ironically argued on states’ rights grounds.

CAROLYN: “Who is was John Jay?” ($0)
ELLEN: “Who is John Marshall?” ($11K) = $22,200
PRANJAL: “Who is Marshall” ($4.5K) = $25,910

  1. Dalton Higbee said:

What did Ellen Corrigan wore today? She wore a very pink short-sleeved suit shirt.

  2. On 7/19 pranjal did NOT have the same answer as Ellen. He answered just “Marshall”. No more valid than answering a President question wit just Roosevelt. Why the cover-up.
